Summer inspiration. Provence, when the days are long, exploring all those pretty villages, long lunches under a shady tree, afternoon lazing by the pool then heading to dinner. Some of my favourite French villages in this region include Lourmarin, Bonnieux, Saignon, Lacoste, Gordes and Roussillon. All are super close and lovely spots to pop in for lunch/dinner and to wander around. See below for my top picks. Have a great weekend!! 💙❤️🇫🇷

This is a village you’ll want to visit:
📍L’Isle-sur-la-Sorgue
ℹ️ It’s known as the Venice of Provence
ℹ️ Built around canals fed by the Sorgue River, this village feels like a peaceful, romantic escape with old water wheels, pastel shutters, and cobbled streets. The best part is: it remains a hidden gem and crowds-free (except during the annual antiques festival)
ℹ️ Famous for its antiques, it’s home to one of the best antique markets in Europe, especially lively on Sundays when the entire town turns into an open-air treasure hunt or during the annual antiques festival.
ℹ️ You’ll also find charming cafés by the water, Provençal markets, and art galleries tucked into hidden corners.
ℹ️ It’s the perfect day trip for anyone visiting Avignon, the Luberon, or exploring Provence by car.
ℹ️ It’s NOT accessible by train from Paris. You’ll need to go to Avignon, and then rent a car.

Provence is less about seeing everything. It’s about feeling where you are.
This is a region best experienced slowly: market mornings, hilltop villages, long lunches, sun-warmed stone, and the kind of stays that feel shaped by the landscape around them.
Our Provence collection reflects that rhythm, with properties that pair beautifully across the countryside and coast for a spring and summer itinerary.
France continues, region by region.

and absolutely nowhere to rush to.

A favourite destination of mine that I’ll be returning to in August.
Lavender fields, hilltop villages, rosé lunches and golden summer light…
Provence is the kind of place that makes you slow down and savour every moment. 🇫🇷
Wander the markets of Aix-en-Provence, get lost in the stone lanes of Gordes, sip wine in Châteauneuf-du-Pape, and watch the sun set over endless rows of lavender.
It’s relaxed, romantic, and effortlessly beautiful. The very best of the French countryside.
Provence is perfect for a few dreamy days as part of a wider France itinerary, or as a slow escape all on its own. 🌿🍷
