Wallace & Gromit finally in LEGO form! Set was provided by LEGO for the review | Sponsored LEGO Ideas set #21371 Wallace & Gromit will be released on October 1st, 2026. It consists of 1038 pieces and costs 99.99 USD / 99.99 EUR / 419,99 PLN. What I like: * Wallace and Gromit look fantastic! Their shapes and expressions translate surprisingly well into LEGO bricks * There are some really clever uses of existing LEGO elements throughout the model. Flower petals are used to create the motorcycle’s fuel tank, while parts like spoons and cups are incorporated into the engine * Gromit’s goggles are brilliant — the transparent lenses actually magnify his eyes and make the expression even more convincing * A new dedicated eye element was created for the set, giving Wallace and Gromit those characteristic bulging eyes. It makes a huge difference and helps the models look much closer to the original characters * The final model was effectively redesigned from scratch compared with the original fan submission. LEGO changed the scale, which meant the entire construction had to be reworked * I also really like the choice of the motorcycle and sidecar from A Close Shave. It makes the whole display much more dynamic What I don’t like: * I wish the sidecar could transform into the little airplane like it does in A Close Shave. That would have been an amazing extra feature * There are a few stickers, and as always, I would much rather see printed pieces #LEGO #RLFM #WallaceAndGromit #LEGOIdeas

12060 pieces of pure architecture! Set was provided by LEGO for the review LEGO Architecture set #21065 Sagrada Família will be released on November 1st, 2026. It consists of 12,060 pieces. What I like: * One of the designers told us: “Please don’t rush, give it justice” - and I completely agree. This is a set where it is worth slowing down and learning some of the history while you build * The instructions are genuinely interesting. There is a lot of information about the building, its architecture and Gaudí’s ideas, so the whole experience feels more like discovering Sagrada Família than simply assembling a huge LEGO set * There are lots of Easter eggs and small details hidden throughout the build, which makes it very rewarding to pay attention instead of rushing through the bags * The build follows the architecture of the real basilica and uses a huge variety of techniques, textures and tiny elements * 12,060 pieces sounds intimidating, but a huge part of that number comes from very small elements. For people like me who build mosaics with thousands of tiny pieces, it honestly doesn’t feel that crazy * Despite the piece count, the finished model is actually quite reasonable to display. It has a huge presence, but its footprint is not nearly as extreme as the number of pieces might suggest * The stained-glass effect adds some beautiful color and contrast inside the otherwise very architectural build What I don’t like: * There is inevitably some repetition when building such a detailed architectural model, especially across similar sections of the façades and towers * This is definitely not a set to build quickly. If you just want to finish it as fast as possible, I think you would miss a big part of what makes this set specialg #LEGO #RLFM #Architecture #SagradaFamilia
