Building on the visual language of the home kit, diagonal chevrons are reimagined as an all-over pattern in navy, creating a clean, rhythmic look with three interlocking shapes. The color palette is a throwback through DFB history – from the iconic blue zipper worn in 1954 to the training styles of the ’60s, ’70s, and ’80s, all the way to the bold aqua tones of the ’90s. Altogether, it delivers a strong, modern vibe with plenty of character. A subtle flag label at the hem gives a final nod to the long-standing partnership between adidas and Germany – going strong since 1954. Germany has played exactly one match in blue during its DFB adidas history: in 1986 in Mexico against Atlético Morelia. It was a friendly match in which the official kit was not allowed to be worn.
