The founder of our gallery, @lynngoldsmith , who is both photographer and musician had an exhibition at the celebrated @rockheim Museum in Trondheim which featured not only her photographs from the 1980’s but also her music and videos made in 1983 under the AKA of WILL POWERS. SMILE, a song written by her with music by @nilerodgers , @the_todd_rundgren , and @stevewinwood , titled the exhibition. Her videos, which incorporated 3-dimensional animation, were the first of their kind. All the photographs were accompanied by listening stations where the music of the artist in the photo presented could be heard thru head sets. On her song “SMILE” there were robots from the video that visitors to the museum could dance with. The exhibition was so popular that though scheduled for 6 months - they extended it to one year. Over 60,000 people came and experienced a decade of music that was more varied than any other decade in history. Her @rizzolibooks book “MUSIC IN THE 80’S” is available to purchase worldwide on Amazon. This weekend the exhibition will close - but we hope that one day it will come to the US as it is an experience of a time when so many new forms of music were popular simultaneously… including Lynn’s ! #lynngoldsmith #SMILE #rockheim #trondheim #willpowers #rockandrollphotogallery #rockandroll #rock #80s #80smusic #musicinthe80s #famous #icon #legend #gallery #fineart #limitededition #print #nashville Fine art prints are available for purchase from our gallery in Nashville, as well as from our website. Thank you to @lynngoldsmith for sharing this wonderful moment from @emmylou_harris_ & company’s performance from last week (singing “Calling My Children Home”) at the @exit_in in Nashville, prior to closing under its current stewardship. ✨🙏🙌 Posted @withrepost • @lynngoldsmith My first and probably last time @exit_in ..a #nashville home for the past 50 years to music because they’re closing the end of Nov. …and lucky me got to hear Emmylou Harris there with great musicians including @will_kimbrough …every time I get anxious about living here, if I go out and experience what #nashville has to offer, I feel we made a good decision to move here…maybe the secret to liking anywhere you are is to get out and be part of it…aging has made me hesitant to put out the energy to do that or maybe it was the hibernation of Covid…but it’s clear that there’s joy out there in the world if you let yourself be in it. #emmylouharris #exitin #callingmychildrenhome #nashville #countrymusic #singersongwriter #americanamusic #voicesofamericana #womenofamericana #womeninmusic

KISS - Heaven’s on Fire (1984) Первый и мощный сингл с альбома Animalize. Одна из лучших песен пластинки. Клип находился в постоянной ротации на MTV. Очень цепляющий припев, очень харизматичные парни. ___ Cover photo of @paulstanleylive by @lynngoldsmith (1980) #kiss #kissband #glammetal #1980s #paulstanley #heavensonfire
