He recognized me from our advocacy for #bilalabdullah and we had a conversation about how they are keeping his name alive through continuing to service our community by providing fresh produce in our food deserts. It was a honor to stand in solidarity today with countless Baltimore youth and members of our dirtbike community for a piece walk-through downtown as they made a plea to city leadership as well as our police commissioner to work with them and other community stakeholders on Safe designated spaces for them to ride, build community, and express their creative freedoms in one of Baltimore‘s most significant cultural pillars. There has been a concerted effort from our State’s Attorneys office and local media outlets to demonize our youth and criminalize their desire to ride dirt bikes in peace. Today was an opportunity for us to reclaim and reshape that narrative. #MyBmore
