Nobody loves you as well as God loves you. But our experience of being loved by our parents can affect the way we receive God’s Love as Father. . Take some time today, and pray through the “Our Father”. Pray through each line, reflecting on the immense love God has for you. . CCC Paragraph 239: “By calling God “Father”, the language of faith indicates two main things: that God is the first origin of everything and transcendent authority; and that he is at the same time goodness and loving care for all his children. God’s parental tenderness can also be expressed by the image of motherhood,62 which emphasizes God’s immanence, the intimacy between Creator and creature. the language of faith thus draws on the human experience of parents, who are in a way the first representatives of God for man. But this experience also tells us that human parents are fallible and can disfigure the face of fatherhood and motherhood. We ought therefore to recall that God transcends the human distinction between the sexes. He is neither man nor woman: he is God. He also transcends human fatherhood and motherhood, although he is their origin and standard:63 no one is father as God is Father.” #catholicnp #catholic #catechismofthecatholicchurch #godslove #ourfather

Why did Jesus teach us the Lord’s Prayer? 🙏✝️ The disciples didn’t ask Jesus: “Teach us to preach.” They didn’t ask: “Teach us to perform miracles.” They asked: “Lord, teach us to pray.” And Jesus began with two extraordinary words: “Our Father.” Prayer begins with relationship. But the Lord’s Prayer is more than something to recite. It’s a framework for living: Relationship — Our Father Worship — Hallowed be Your name Kingdom — Your kingdom come Dependence — Give us our daily bread Forgiveness — Forgive us as we forgive Protection — Lead us not into temptation Deliverance — Deliver us from evil And at its center is a powerful request: “Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.” Prayer isn’t only asking God to change our circumstances. It aligns us with His will. #LordsPrayer #Matthew6 #OurFather #JesusTeachings #KingdomMindset

We pray the Our Father 6 times in every rosary. The Our Father is the perfect prayer, because it was the Lord Jesus who taught it to us. By beginning the rosary and each decade of the rosary with this prayer, we are uniting ourselves to Christ. Every time we pray the Our Father, Archbishop John Wilson said, it makes a difference to our lives as it brings us closer to God. #prayerlife #catholicprayer #catholicfaith #catholiclife #OurFather
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen. 🙏 #ourfather #rosary #prayer
