🎥: Visit Seattle
Seattle, located in the Pacific Northwest, is one of the most famous coastal cities in the United States.
@thediscoverydestination shares travel content from around the world.
Nothing better than staring at Seattle in the sunshine 😎
If you’ve been waiting for the “perfect time”…
this is it.
Because this season doesn’t last.
It shows up
goes all in
then disappears fast
So here’s your sign 🌸
1️⃣ UW Quad
The classic Seattle moment
Go early… or be ready for crowds
2️⃣ Downtown Bellevue Park
Festive
but still a little more low key
3️⃣ Seward Park
Lake views + petals = magic
4️⃣ NW Railroad Museum (Snoqualmie)
Adorable
perfect little day trip
5️⃣ Issaquah Depot
Small town spring energy
6️⃣ Green Lake
Take a stroll and take in all the spring blooms.
7️⃣ Arboretum + Japanese Garden
For the perfect flower watching moment.
And a few of my favorites:
➡️ Jefferson Park at sunset
➡️ that Capitol Hill street (21st & Aloha)
Pro tip:
Go early morning or right before sunset
less people, better light
This is the kind of season that makes me fall in love with Seattle all over again.

🌊🎉 Seattle is Making Waves - Literally! 🎉🌊
After 20 years of dedicated vision and planning, the breathtaking 20-acre Waterfront Park is here! A must see the transformation of the former Alaskan Way Viaduct into a vibrant community oasis is finally here, reconnecting our beautiful downtown to the stunning Elliott Bay. 🌅
✨ Here's what's waiting for you at this newly revamped waterfront:
- A magnificent 17-block promenade perfect for walkers, runners, and bikers 🚶♂️🏃♀️🚴♂️
- Nearly 1,000 new trees and 150,000 lush plants adding fresh greenery 🌳🌿
- Inspiring public art, rich cultural programming, and lively performance spaces 🎨🎭🎶
- Restored shoreline habitats & new pathways for our iconic salmon 🐟💧
- Seamless connections from the beloved Pike Place Market right to the water 🌊🏞️
This is Seattle's largest civic project since the iconic 1962 World's Fair, which gifted us the Space Needle. 🌎🎡 A once-in-a-lifetime transformation that belongs to our entire community.
Seattle isn't just growing; it's thriving like never before. Who's ready to experience the magic of our transformed waterfront? Let's walk into this new chapter together! 🚶♀️🌟
