BREAKING: Scientists have unveiled a gigantic prehistoric killer Giant created through a cutting-edge experiment. Despite its enormous size, it’s still in its early stage—and could become even more massive as it matures. Experts say advances in genetics might one day make it possible to revive species lost millions of years ago. But not everyone agrees—many warn that bringing back large marine predators could upset the ocean’s natural balance in ways we can’t predict. What do you think—scientific breakthrough or a risky move? 🐋 #PrehistoricOcean #GiantOrca #OceanPredator #MarineDiscovery #OceanMysteries 🌊🐋

Before the oceans were ruled by giant predators, another massive creature was already drifting through the seas. 🌊 Leedsichthys is believed to be one of the largest fish ever to exist, reaching lengths of around 16–20 meters. Unlike famous prehistoric hunters, this giant wasn’t chasing prey. Instead, it survived by filter-feeding on plankton and tiny marine life, swallowing huge volumes of water as it moved through the Jurassic oceans. Despite not being a predator, its sheer size made it almost untouchable. Imagine a creature as long as a bus silently gliding through dark ancient waters, surrounded by marine reptiles and early sharks. The prehistoric ocean wasn’t just dangerous — it was absolutely gigantic. Creatures like this remind us how little we truly know about the deep history of our planet. Some of the biggest animals to ever live weren’t hunters at all — they were peaceful giants. 💬 Question: Which would scare you more in the ocean — a giant predator or a mysterious 20-meter fish appearing from the darkness? ✨COMING SOON✨ 🐚Fossilized Spiralite Quartz Shells🐚 50 million to 100 million years ago, during the Crustaceous period, India was submerged by a prehistoric ocean. During that period, rare coiled gastropods lived and died; and have since been discovered in the form of these fossilized quartz druzy shells. They are found embedded in hard rock, so they must be extracted, chiseled, and cleaned by hand! 🐚 These will be posted for sale as a story sale sometime this week, so stay tuned for that announcement! 🦊 ••• #fossilizedshell #seashell #druzyshell #rarecrystals #rarefossils #uniquecrystals #crystalsofig #crystals #natureisamazing
These ancient lizards are bracing for a difficult year 🦎 #EuronewsGreen 📹 by @robertoochoahe Found only on the Galápagos Islands, marine iguanas have the ability to forage in the sea for algae, their primary food source. The only marine species of lizard on the planet, these prehistoric reptiles are dependent on ocean currents for food and as sea temperatures rise, algae will become more difficult to find. Occurring every 2 to 7 years, the rising sea temperatures during an El Niño event mean that algae in the Pacific ocean will be less prolific. Follow @euronewsgreen

We traveled to Delaware to watch horseshoe crabs under a strawberry full moon. It felt like watching a prehistoric ocean as thousands of crabs crawled out of the sea as the moon rose completely covering the beach. Horseshoe crabs are believed to be the most ancient animals still around with fossils dating back 450 million years. Each spring, they arrive in Delaware Bay to lay eggs on the beach and create the next generation of horseshoe crabs. Despite their name, they are not actually crabs. They’re more closely related to spiders and scorpions. Their whole body is armored under a hardshell with five pairs of legs. Their annual migration to Delaware Bay is believed to be one of the world‘s largest and oldest migrations. #horseshoecrab #delawarebay #prehistoric #limuluspolyphemus #horseshoecrabs
