Coming from working FOR a prop firm, I’m going to say what they don’t want me to say: STOP buying evaluations. Prop firms make most of their money from FAILED challenges, not from funded traders. They are designed for you to fail. Multiple phases, daily loss rules, time limits, consistency rules, restrictions on news trading, lot sizes, holding over weekend - one small mistake and you’re back to paying $150-$500 again. The stats prove it: Only 5-10% of traders pass evaluations on the first try Only 7% of traders who buy a challenge EVER get a payout FTMO themselves reports only 10% pass the initial eval and 4% become consistently funded And even when you DO pass, now you have a 20-30% profit share, 30 day withdrawal waits, and rules on how you can trade your OWN funded account. There ARE platforms where you don’t do evaluations. No phases. No profit share. No 30-day wait.
