Now in its 60th year, Ngā Manu Kōrero – a kaupapa Māori speech competition – is continuing to uplift rangatahi and their voices, encouraging them to embrace te reo and speak out on the big issues.
Ngā Manu Kōrero Tāmaki ki te Waitematā brought together kura kaupapa, rumaki and auraki students on Friday, giving them a platform to kōrero and honour their tūpuna.

It's been a pleasure hanging out with rangatahi over the last couple of days at the @wakaamanz Sprint Nationals. Whānau, connecting with nature, and the slushie machines seem to be at the top of their highlight lists🍹
Kia ora and well done to everyone who's taken to the water so far – it's been an epic few days 🛶🔥 We're proud to get in behind @wakaamanz Sprint Nationals to support an event that contributes to all facets of hauora and wellbeing.
