Robinhood CEO Doesn’t Use Robinhood
Link in bio | The fight over Robinhood’s stock tokens is really a fight over who holds the votes. The receipts behind the reel: 1. In two months Robinhood turned 190 US stocks into tokens on a blockchain, Apple, Nvidia and Google included, and had 900,000 new buyers outside the US. 2. September 2026: AMC CEO Adam Aron said he was unaware AMC shares were being tokenized, called the practice “contemptible,” demanded Robinhood stop, and threatened to take it to the SEC. 3. September 9, CNBC: Robinhood CEO Vlad Tenev said each token is a debt security backed one for one by a real share held as collateral. Holders get the dividends, not the voting rights. Asked how Robinhood would vote those shares, he said the company has not announced a plan. The tokens are issued by a Robinhood entity in Jersey and are not available to US customers. 4. One AMC linked pair on Robinhood Chain printed at roughly 60 times the real share price on thin liquidity, per Securitize’s CEO. A wrapper trades like a wrapper. 5. Your own shares work the same way. Since 1973 nearly every US stock has been registered under one nominee, Cede & Co., and what you hold is a claim on it. The token is the same claim, moving at internet speed. The fight is over who controls the shares underneath, and the fix is the one regulators are already working on: the company issues the share as the token itself. Tokenized stocks were about a $1 billion market at the end of 2025 (rwa.xyz). Major banks project trillions in tokenized assets by 2030. Every one of those tokens gets issued, traded and borrowed against somewhere. Those businesses are the part we have spent two years mapping. “I’d do anything for love, I’d do anything for you.”❤️ 🎤 Bryan Adams 🎵 (Everything I Do) I Do It for You 🎬 Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves 📅 1991 “(Everything I Do) I Do It for You” é uma das baladas românticas mais marcantes dos anos 90 e um dos maiores sucessos da carreira de Bryan Adams. #BryanAdams #EverythingIDo #RobinHood #Anos90 #rockanos2000
