This month, we celebrate the great! 🌟🎉🍎
Each day, we'll introduce you to one of the incredible finalists for the Celebrate the Great Awards, which will be presented in partnership with the @educationfoundationpbc on January 29, 2026.
Next in the Assistant Principal category, meet Mrs. Lauren Hall, Assistant Principal at Cypress Trails Elementary School and Central Region finalist for 2026 Assistant Principal of the Year. Mrs. Hall says her biggest career accomplishment is bringing the Ron Clark Academy into the school, igniting passion in teachers and boosting morale. Cypress Trails Principal Bruce Saulter says Mrs. Hall is "fiercely passionate about being an assistant principal and has that ability to balance all of the things it takes to lead a school."
The District looks forward to celebrating all of the Celebrate the Great finalists and announcing the winners later this month.

🥹❤️ End of the year post for our girl…
This year, Alyssa decided she was going to put herself out there… and wow, did she deliver.
✨ Made the Essential Step Team (twice!)
🎭 Starred in the Ron Clark Academy musical with THREE main roles
🙋🏽♀️ Found her voice in class
💪 Stepped outside of her comfort zone again and again
A few years ago, after losing her mom, we watched Alyssa pull back and build walls around her heart. That journey hasn’t been easy, and there are still hard days. But this year, we got to watch her shine a little brighter, laugh a little louder, and believe in herself a little more.
The thing we admire most about Alyssa is that she keeps going. No matter the disappointment, judgment, or challenge, she gets back up and keeps moving forward.
We are so proud of the young lady she is becoming and so excited to see where her dreams, goals, and determination take her next. The future is bright, sweet girl. Keep shining. 💙✨

MHH NATIONAL | ATLANTA 🚨 NEW STUDENTS AT RON CLARK ACADEMY SAID “WE CAME TO PERFORM!” 😂🔥
The first day of school comes with a unique tradition at Atlanta’s Ron Clark Academy: new students are expected to perform a song for the entire school.
But the Class of 2031 apparently took the assignment VERY seriously. 😂
According to Ron Clark Academy’s own post, the incoming students “did not come to play” — delivering an energetic first-day performance that had the entire school watching. 🎤🔥
The Class of 2031 is already making an entrance, and judging by the reaction… they understood the assignment! 😂👏🏾

How did I forget to tell you all about my adventure at the Ron Clark Academy?
This was honestly one of the best experiences I’ve had. I randomly woke up one day and decided I wanted to go to Atlanta to experience it for myself to feel the energy, the joy, and see what it’s really about.
So I asked Tiff if she’d go with me. She said yes, and away we went.
From the moment we walked in, the energy in that building was incredible the excitement, the creativity, and the passion for learning. It was unlike anything I’ve ever experienced.
I left feeling truly inspired!!!
It’s about so much more than being a teacher in a classroom. It’s about showing up with energy, purpose, and the willingness to bring your best to whatever space you’re in.
You leave thinking less about teaching and more about how you want to show up in this crazy thing we call life.
Thank you, @ronclarkacademy
