Everything is bigger in Texas, including our donuts! @roundrockdonuts is #1 on Yelp’s list of the best donut shops in the US and are known for their famous glazed donut and massive Texas Sized donut that is a whopping 13 inches long! ABOUT ROUND ROCK DONUTS Located just North of Austin in Round Rock Texas, this iconic donut shop has been serving up their world famous donuts since 1926! The donuts are made from the original owner’s recipe, which uses yeast and fresh eggs, immediately setting them apart from most donut shops. Unlike baking powder donuts, the yeast donuts cannot be machine-made and are hand-rolled, cut, fried and iced daily by their team! & some days they easily churn out 500 dozen of them.. insane! 
 TEXAS SIZED DONUT Their Texas Size donut is a must-order and something you don’t find at just any donut shop! This year it made Yelp’s list of the top 10 most Outrageous Oversized Eats of 2024 and we can confirm that it’s even bigger in person than it looks online… 13 inches to be exact! When we arrive the lines were pretty long but we were actually impressed with how quickly it moved and it ended up only taking about 10 minutes!

Along with the pools and splash pads, it’s another great amenity Round Rock has to offer. One thing I was very impressed with is that there were a lot of lifeguards all over the park. 🛟 . . Whether you’re popping up from Austin, visiting @kalahariresortsroundrock, or looking for a new place to visit this summer, you have a lot to do in Round Rock for families! ⚾️ Nothing says summer like heading to the ballpark! @rrexpress games at Dell Diamond are fun, family friendly (they have a playground, bounce house, and climbing wall!), and every seat in the house has an excellent view 🛝 My kids were WOWED by Play for All Abilities Park - my son said it’s a playground Kidtopia! They loved the mini-city, bike track, multiple huge playground sets and of course it is also accessible 👏 📍 151 North A.W. Grimes Blvd 🍩🧇🍔 CANNOT forget the food! The world-famous @roundrockdonuts are a must-try (the Texas size if you’re feeling particularly hungry!), I cannot say enough yummy things about @waffleloveatx and their terrific breakfast and lunch waffles, the cool @backporchsocialrr has an indoor arcade and a laid back lawn with huge TV, yard games, and Adirondacks plus stop at @3starcandy for candy nostalgia and ice cream 🧜‍♀️Under the Sea Bowling! I have seen Uncle Buck’s Fish Bowl & Grill @ubfroundrock on IG, and it did not disappoint! It’s an under the sea themed bowling alley - my kids thought this was so cool and unique. They also enjoyed the (very generous) arcade, we left with a bunch of prizes (that never happens)! 🛍️ The downtown Round Rock area has some really cute shops including @hometowngiftanddecor and often has weekend markets, live music and other pop-up fun. We also liked stopping into the Round Rock Library, just down the street from Round Rock Donuts. They have a great little indoor play area plus an outdoor patio When was the last time you were in Round Rock? It is a gem!
