Sweetest safari set for a wild child! 🦁✨
I’ve been getting lots of messages asking how to use silicone moulds, especially in regards to what I dust them with and how to ensure they don’t stick.
I always dust them with a generous amount of cornflour (known as cornstarch in some areas outside of Australia). I then add softened fondant, press down firmly to ensure a good shape, and release the fondant by bending the mould on an angle. I dust the cornflour off afterwards. I hope this helps - any other questions please drop them below!

Free Royal Icing Transfer Templates!! Hey friends! I have just posted a new blog post that takes you through all the steps of creating Royal Icing Transfers! There is even a royal icing recipe included. I have also created a folder that I will be updating every so often with new FREE transfer templates! There are only a few in there right now but I will add some fun summer ones really soon. Since we all have different sized cutters, I also show you in the blog how to resize the templates on your tablet and lock your screen so you don’t even have to print them! I will be saving the blog link and the transfer folder to my highlights so if you every need quick access you can just head on over to my highlights.
Unrelated, I am still running my long weekend sale! Check yesterdays post for all the details. It is a good one! And I think I forgot to mention that my colour guide is also included in the discount! If you have any questions please don’t hesitate!
Cutter shown is coming soon to @thecookiery.ca and STL file will be listed on my site soon as well!
