The massive DEYI ENDURANCE captured during her passage through the Bosphorus, fully laden with coal and proceeding toward Eren Port, Zonguldak, Türkiye. The 171,810 DWT Capesize departed Murmansk, Russia, on 25 July 2026, with Eren reported as her destination. Loaded close to her full cargo capacity, with a reported draught of approximately 17.7 metres, DEYI ENDURANCE made an impressive fully laden passage through Istanbul. WHERE IS THE COAL GOING? The coal is destined for Eren Port in Zonguldak, the major coal-handling terminal serving Eren Enerji. Eren Port handles millions of tonnes of imported coal annually to supply the nearby ZETES — Zonguldak Eren Thermal Power Plant, operated by Eren Enerji. With a total installed capacity of approximately 2,790 MW, the ZETES complex consists of ZETES 1, ZETES 2 and ZETES 3 and represents one of Türkiye’s largest coal-fired electricity generation facilities. ⚠️ Контейнеровоз Trans-Asia 17 столкнулся с судном во время ночного манёвра Контейнеровоз Trans-Asia 17 во время ночного маневрирования в порту опасно сблизился с судном, находившимся у причала, и допустил навал. На видеозаписи видно, как нос контейнеровоза проходит в непосредственной близости от небольшого портового плавсредства, после чего касается борта соседнего судна. В момент, когда столкновение стало практически неизбежным, экипаж отдал якорь на ходу. Якорная цепь начала быстро вытравливаться с носа, что, вероятно, было попыткой экстренно снизить скорость и ослабить последствия удара. Однако полностью остановить судно не удалось. Trans-Asia 17 продолжил движение по инерции и прошёл вдоль борта второго судна на минимальном расстоянии. Точная причина происшествия пока не установлена.
