What’s the most used equipment in swimming today? 🏊♂️
GoPros.
Heavy trollies.
Cables everywhere.
Hours of video editing.
Expensive software.
But what if one tool could replace it all?
Swim Analysor Pro — currently under review by the App Store — is designed to become the most used digital equipment in swimming.
No 5 GoPros.
No bulky setups.
No time-consuming software workflows.
Just powerful, instant swim analysis — simplified.
The future of swim analysis is smarter, faster, and finally built for coaches.
Stay tuned. 🚀

Overrotation is not good for the speed, is not good for the consistency of the tecnhique, is not good for the control of the body.
It creates too much drug and consumes a lot of energy.
The swimmer can learn a lot from this video.

The Endless Pool with @swimcoachtina_stroke_analysis
Thanks to @sonr.pro for making my Job, as a Swim Coach, that little bit easier..
Real time feedback during the session, means we can tweak the stroke, as the athlete continues to swim 👏 👏..

Amateur swimmer — velocity curve analysis.
In this test, the swimmer breathes to the right every 4th stroke.
Notice the pattern:
Strokes with breathing produce a smaller increase in velocity compared to non-breathing strokes.
What are the reasons?
One key reason is over-rotation during breathing, which increases drag and disrupts forward momentum.
This is exactly where data makes the difference — it helps you see what you can’t feel.

🎯 Feel for the water isn’t magic — it’s measurable.
📈 What we call “feel” is your ability to sense pressure changes on the hand and forearm, adjust pitch, and maintain connection through the pull. The nervous system learns this through repetition, variability, and feedback — not just yardage.
📚 As explained in The Biology of Swimming, propulsion improves when swimmers increase surface awareness and apply force in the correct direction, not just harder. Feel is sensory skill + motor control working together.
⭐ The best swimmers don’t just move water — they control it. And control can be trained.
➡️ Stop chasing meters. Start chasing feedback. Add contrast sets, sculling, tempo control, and intentional paddles work to build real connection.
💥 Train smarter. Understand why. Apply what works.

Today’s swim: 10×100m, averaging 1:45 per 100.
Starting to feel more comfortable in the water and the speed is coming along, but dialing in the technique is still the biggest challenge. What’s helping most right now is staying focused on my catch and keeping a consistent kick #swim #triathlon #athlete #funny
Many swimmers unconsciously move the head while rotating. And since the head sits at the top of our spinal chain, even the smallest movements travel down through the whole body.
If the head moves:
• balance is affected right away
• spine bends, more drag is added
• body line breaks and starts to wobble
That’s why The Bottle Balance drill is such a powerful learning tool, it reveals exactly what the head does when we rotate.
Step-by-step:
1. Lie on your back with body long, use fins
2. Place a bottle on the forehead.
3. Start flutter kick with arms at sides.
4. Maintain a still head.
5. Every now and then, rotate the body.
6. Continue without dropping the bottle.
Want to make it even harder?
Balance a short-diameter bottle, here from @revviproducts . Even a tiny movement will knock the bottle off and I admit, this was a tough one. 🤯
THE AWARD: swim full stroke right away and feel the difference; the energy goes forward 🤜🏻🤛🏻.
Good luck!

Comment ‘get faster’ and I’ll send you the exact structure on how to get faster and drop time 🏊♂️💯
Starting a new sport comes with a lot of head noise.
Am I doing this right?
Do I have the right gear?
Do I look like an idiot?
Why am I not as good as them?
On top of that, there’s the online noise everyone doing things their way, everyone certain they’ve got the “right” answer. If you’re not careful, it creates more confusion than clarity, especially in training.
The past few weeks I got caught in this myself. I started over analysing my swim what my form should look like, how I should feel in the water even though I actually felt good and was moving well. I began changing things that didn’t need changing, and I’m not even sure they improved anything.
Instead of focusing on the session in front of me, my head was running through ten other thoughts that weren’t relevant at all.
After chatting with @tethefirst , it snapped me back into a much better headspace. Simpler. Clearer. Back to focusing on the work, not the noise.
It’s a good reminder of why having a great coach matters someone who pulls you back when you drift, keeps you consistent, shows you progress when you can’t see it yourself, and actually listens to you as both a client and a mate.
Trust the process. Keep it simple. Do the work.
Only serious swimmers will understand this👇
The biggest problem for most swimmers is the “technique plateau.” You think you’re doing the drills correctly, but you’re actually just reinforcing bad habits every single lap.
The solution is a total environmental reset. Spending a week with expert coaches and video analysis fixes those “blind spots” in your stroke that you can’t see yourself. 🏊♂️
Once you learn the correct mechanics alongside Olympians, you don’t just swim faster, you swim smarter for the rest of your life.
