She used to not eat at swim meets at all. Too overwhelmed. Too nervous. Too much going on. And if you’re a swim parent… you know how big of a deal that is. Here’s what actually helped us turn it around 👇 • stopped forcing full meals — focused on small, quick snacks between events • brought familiar “safe foods” only (nothing new on meet days) • started fueling BEFORE she got hungry (this was huge) • kept things super simple + easy to grab between races • lowered the pressure — less “you need to eat” and more “just take a few bites” It didn’t happen overnight… but it changed everything. Now I’m just trying to keep up with how fast she eats between events 😂 If you’re in that phase right now — stay consistent, it really does get better.
