Traveling by plane to get a retie is CRAZY! ‌ However, when I first moved back to Georgia, NO ONE wanted to take me as a transfer loc client. If they didn’t install my locs, their books weren’t open. The struggle is real and I’ve had to sacrifice a few locs along the way. 😢 Luckily my hair is thick and I can go a little longer between appts, but it’s still a struggle. The level of coordination, including finding care for my son while I’m away, is insane. I usually do a turn & burn. Take the first flight out and come back home the same evening. ‌ I’ve been with @fantahairstudio for years and was on her waiting list for two years before my install! I knew once I left the military, I wanted her to do my hair. ‌ How does this make sense financially? It doesn’t really, but it can work. I’m usually able to use my Skymiles to get a free or practically free flight. Now when Delta acting up, I may have to breakdown and catch a $47 round trip flight on another airline.
