The Living Zoo and Gardens 🦘 📍 Palm Desert, CA Yesterday we grabbed a couple friends and headed to Palm Desert to check out The Living Zoo. This was the first time for our family and we really enjoyed it. The weather was so nice, the animals were out and visible. I felt like the walk around this zoo was much more enjoyable than others in our area. It wasn’t a ton of hills, easy to maneuver strollers, and was not packed at all, which was nice! Sure, the drive was kind of long… but so if the drive to LA or SD for the other zoos, the difference being this drive wasn’t bumper to bumper traffic- so that’s a win. There were places for the kids to run around, play, and you didn’t feel rushed with exhibit after exhibit after exhibit. I do think going with friends added to our experience… so find some people to do life with, and head to the zoo. They are located in Palm Desert about 30 minutes from Palm Springs but since our check in wasn’t until 3pm this was a perfect activity to pass time!
