A press note from TVK general secretary N. Anand said this follows the party founder president Vijay giving the nod to Mr. Nehru 's request for fighting the April 9 elections as part of the TVK alliance.
MrNehru had launched his regional party in October, 2025 pledging to safeguard the rights of the people and to fight for securing Statehood.
