Bugün geleneksel washi kâğıdı yapımının en temel aşamasındaydık.
🌿 Dikili kozo dallarını hasat ettik.
♨️ Buharda pişirerek lifleri yumuşattık.
🪵 Kabuklarını tek tek sıyırdık.
🔥 Kazanda kaynatarak lifleri arındırdık.
✨ İnce temizliğini (chiri-tori) yaptık.
🔨 Tokmakla döverek lifleri açtık ve kâğıt yapımına hazır hâle getirdik.
Henüz ortada bir kâğıt yok…
Ama aslında kâğıdın ruhu tam burada başlıyor.
Sabır, emek ve ritim.
Geleneksel üretimde her aşama bir meditasyon gibi.
Devamında bu lifler su ve neri ile buluşacak ve gerçek washi formuna dönüşecek…
