Could this be the ✨NEW✨ dynamic product duo to create a faux-wood finish? If you’re looking to add warmth, depth and character to your staircase then you’ll definitely want to SAVE this for later! Frenchic Fan Danielle (over at @cleaningwithdanielled) wanted to create a faux oak finish on her new build timber staircase to add a more welcome feel and that she did! Opting for our pale, cool cream shade ‘Cream Dream’ from the Al Fresco Inside/ Outside Range as the base colour. 🤎🌾 Once this was dry, Danielle then went in with our warm and subtly toned brown shade ‘Drama Llama’ from the subtle satin finish Trim Paint Range and whilst still fairly wet used a wood grain tool to add a faux-wood grain effect. Finishing with a loving kiss from Frenchic Finishing Coat to add a subtle sheen and additional protection in a high traffic area. Who's a fan? I gotchu sis 😘 This is an easy weekend project that can transform an outdated piece of furniture and give it that highly sought after natural wood finish. The darker you go with your base color the darker your wood finish will be. Start light and know that you can keep applying more of the glaze until you get your desired color.
