In honor of Anthony Beauvillier playing in his 700th career NHL game last night, here’s a throwback to one of my favorite, most underrated moments of his Islanders career. It came on Nov. 15, 2018, when Long Island was hit with a historic pre-Thanksgiving snowstorm. In front of a half-empty Barclays Center, the Islanders went down 2-0, but Beauvillier saved the day, recording a hat trick — and adding an assist — in a 7-5 win over the Rangers. This was Beauvillier’s first career hat trick and first four-point game. Do you remember this game? Were you one of the brave souls who made the trek into Brooklyn? #Isles #Islanders #AnthonyBeauvillier #Rangers #NHL

Jonathan Drouin’s first goal with the Blues was a bullet. 🎯 #Isles #Islanders #JonathanDrouin #Blues #NHL

Patrick Roy said Anders Lee’s hit on Josh Norris last night was “a very good non-call” and he doesn’t think “we needed that fight” between Lee and Sam Carrick. Do you agree with Roy? #Isles #Islanders #PatrickRoy #AndersLee #NHL

Mathieu Darche thinks Jonathan Drouin “is still a good player” but he “went into a tough stretch” and was included as this deal to “take some money out.” Are you happy Drouin was traded? Do you think he’ll play better in St. Louis? #Isles #Islanders #JonathanDrouin #MathieuDarche #NHL

When asked about trading for Ondrej Palat, Brayden Schenn and Carson Soucy, three veterans with postseason experience, Mathieu Darche said “you can only gain experience by living it” and the trio “definitely helps [the] young kids know what to expect.” Are you happy with Darche’s first year as general manager so far? #Isles #Islanders #OndrejPalat #BraydenSchenn #NHL

Patrick Roy: “Goalie interference, if you don’t mind, can we change subject?” 😂 #Isles #Islanders #PatrickRoy #AndersLee #NHL

Tony DeAngelo almost took someone out last night. 😂 #Isles #Islanders #TonyDeAngelo #Flames #NHL

Anthony Beauvillier played in his 700th career NHL regular-e season game — yes, you’re reading that correctly — when the Capitals beat the Senators tonight. Congratulations, @titobeauvi91! 💙🧡 #Isles #Islanders #AnthonyBeauvillier #Capitals #NHL

You have to respect the honesty from Patrick Roy here. 😂 #Isles #Islanders #PatrickRoy #VictorEklund #NHL

They waved this goal off for goaltender interference, captain Anders Lee almost made it 2-0 late in the third period 👀 #Isles #NYIslanders #Captain #AndersLee #IslandersLive

Rittich loves being an islander and playing in front of the UBS crowd 🧡💙 #houseofislanders #isles #islanders #ubsarena
