Thank you Gabriel and team @iconiccarwraps for giving my #class5unlimited Baja a cool throwback look to the legendary #originalbajabug #bajabug Can’t wait to take this thing out to the Baja Bug Gathering March 27-29 at Ocotillo Wells, and get it dirty.

Always cruisin. This Baja is no joke. Fat built 2 liter @ranchotransaxles 091 and Crumco chassis. @staceycinq owns this one and very happy he does. Things looks and performs beautifully. @the_best_bajas @bajasociety @bajasociety @overbudgetbajas @blakewilkey357 #vintagebugee #california #bajabug #live #carporn @kingshocks @methodracewheels

This adventure gets better and better every year! This year consisted of 12 cars and 16 people. We visited Dove Springs, Lone Pine, Alabama Hills, Mazanar air Strip, the Reward Mine, Copper Top BBQ, Mammoth, the June Lake loop, Grant Lake, Lee Vinning, the Log Cabin Mine, Horse Shoe Lake, the Chalk Mine, Crowley Lake, several stream crossings, and a couple of secret springs/ponds. All and all, the cars did great! We had a few minor trail fixes such as electric power steering malfunctions, melted fan plugs, blown fuses, overheated fuel pump, broken steering rack, broken tabs, and a flat tire. Nothing major and all fixable on the trail. Saw a lot of coyotes, some deer, and even some elk. It takes the right group of people to be able to pull of a trip like this. Thank you to @ginsbergfabrication @leesvw @bayes_scott @dsahagun2965 @phil_moores.474 @7harmon @ericramirez8373 @jeff_mcc26 @alex.pena_ @j.b.explores @donaldwoods @davidcooke857 for being a part of the #mammoth1000 2026! Can't wait for next year! #bajabug #bajabugs #offroadcars #offroad
