BC is at a breaking point. đ¨
From the Health Professions and Occupations Act forcing our doctors out to the quiet dismantling of private property rights at Hatley Castle, the province we love is being traded away.
We lost 41,000 people last year alone, the fastest population drop in Canada. Why? Because the people who keep us healthy and safe are being told their expertise doesnât matter.
This isnât about âleftâ or âright.â Itâs about whether you want a future where you own your home and have a doctor for your kids, or a future where weâre all just âstewardsâ of a system thatâs failing us.
Itâs time to unite. Think critically. Weigh the options. Before thereâs nothing left to save. đ¨đŚ

Thank you to @jenstdenis for the reporting.
The Loyalist Pioneers are a white nationalist organization that showed up, in masks and wearing all black, the morning after this weekend's election.Â
It's hateful, anti-democratic, and dangerous.Â
As we move forward I will be raising my concerns with the new speaker of the legislature about the risk of our Legislative Assembly being used to host or display anti-democratic and hateful messages, either inside or out.
BTW - there is so much to say about what has happened and what's next. You can count on me to continue providing videos to update you, demystify politics and the issues we face, and make sure you know what's at stake.Â
Questions. Let me know.

The BC Conservatives: We absolutely will not tolerate hate*

The BC NDP have laid out a plan to support seniors health care. It includes:
Expanding home care support: Adding 500 health-care workers to give more seniors faster, hands-on support, scrapping user fees, and expanding virtual Long-term Care at Home monitoring.
Free shingles vaccines: Covering the full cost of the two-dose shingles vaccine for all adults aged 50+ and all immunocompromised adults, to prevent unnecessary hospital visits and help people live healthier lives.
Better care for long-term care residents: Bringing more nurse practitioners, pharmacy services, and virtual specialist consultations into long-term care homes so residents can avoid trips to hospital, and setting up more teams to support patients ready to leave hospital and return to community-based care.
Building more long-term care beds faster and for less: With the funding secured through the BC-Canada Prosperity agreement, the BC NDP will move ahead with seven long-term care projects that had been paused earlier this year, using a new model that lowers per-bed costs, shortens construction timelines, and helps us build beds at scale for the future.
Fair wages for care workers:Bringing 5,000 care-home workers back into the public health employer system to ensure stable staffing, better continuity of care, and fair pay. #bcpoli #bcndp
The BC NDP won a four-year mandate in 2024. They werenât due back at the polls until 2028.
Instead of governing out that term, theyâre forcing a snap election, costing an estimated $50 million, just one week after municipal voting day.
This is disrespectful to local candidates like me, and confusing for voters. Municipal campaigns already struggle to be heard. This decision makes it worse.
Volunteers will be stretched, residents will be flooded with door knockers, and local issues will get buried.
We need to do better as a province. Iâm highly disappointed in this decision.

Re: The big question:
What will the BC Conservative Party cut to fund its promises?
The answer is failure.
Failure is expensive and inefficient.
9 years of continual and compounding NDP policy and program failure, mismanagement and backtracking has cost this province tens of billions of dollars revenue, interest, productivity, potential, wages, jobs, and lives.
A BC Conservstive government will cut NDP failure and incompetence out of the budget to fund its promises.

It was a political gamble that backfired spectacularly.
David Eby called a snap election two years early, when the BC Conservatives were in disarray at the time.
But instead of strengthening his mandate, Eby ended up losing his government, and announced his resignation as NDP leader.

Has David Eby ever ridden a bus?
I didn't start this channel to talk politics. But some things you can't sit out.
David Eby went off script last night. Breaking from the partyâs planned lines, he let slip what he actually thinks: he doesnât know how people would get to work if they canât afford car insurance. Well, I have news for him: almost a million of us take transit every week in BC.
Iâd rather bike. Itâs cheaper. But the infrastructure isnât safe, so often Iâm on an overcrowded bus stuck behind cars, and my 2-zone fare just went up 5% while inflation runs at 2%.
Meanwhile driving gets every subsidy: ICBC rebates and a promised ICBC rate freeze to transfer the cost of accidents to injured people (like happened to me), a 10-cent fuel tax cut to transfer the cost of our roads to my nieces and nephews through deficits, and a carbon tax cut to make pollution free.
Just to top it off, cheaper driving means more driving. More driving means worse traffic. And worse traffic means the NDP isnât only bad for people who walk, cycle, and transit, but also for drivers.
Nine years to make affordable transportation safe. They didnât. Oct 24, vote like your commute depends on it.

After nine years in government, David Eby suddenly discovered the importance of building in B.C.
Where was he when four new ferries contracts were handed to a Chinese state-owned shipyard?
Letâs build our ferries, infrastructure and future right here using Canadian steel, Canadian lumber and Canadian workers.
B.C. workers deserve more than election-time promises.
