Even with the ski season still going strong, crews are already hard at work on our capital improvement projects for the 2026/27 season, including replacing the Snowdon Triple with a new Doppelmayr fixed-grip quad🚧 Chairs are off the line, towers are coming down, and more than 8,000 feet of haul rope has been cut and spooled. When a chairlift stops and can’t be restarted, what happens next? Last Thursday, more than 30 members of our Ski Patrol team took part in a full lift evacuation training exercise on the Superstar Six, safely evacuating dozens of staff participants from the line. While guests rarely see it, trainings like this are an essential part of mountain operations. Multiple teams work together behind the scenes coordinating communication, managing on-mountain support, and handling every step as safely and efficiently as possible. Lift evacuations are uncommon, but preparedness is part of our commitment to your safety. We train year-round so that if the unexpected happens, you can feel confident knowing you’re in experienced, capable hands. #bethebeast
