Anticipando la llegada de @waspnationofficial a Buenos Aires el próximo 30 de abril en el Teatro Flores, recordamos la primera visita de su líder, Blackie Lawless, a nuestro país. En 1992, Blackie Lawless llegó a Buenos Aires para realizar una serie de entrevistas con el fin de promocionar el álbum conceptual "The Crimson Idol". Una de estas entrevistas se llevó a cabo en el programa televisivo "Hacelo por mí", que se emitía por Canal 9, donde el líder de W.A.S.P ofreció una interpretación acústica de la canción "The Idol". Tuvimos que esperar hasta 2005 para que la banda debutara en Argentina, y en 2025 se presentarán por tercera vez en la ciudad, de la mano de @icarusmusic.
