So much respect for @kendallpfx and @mark.dowdle still out racing, 300 miles deep and still going strong! It’s mind blowing!
This experience has opened my eyes to a whole new world of athletes, mental and physical resilience, and so much more!

Some 20 mph sprints on the @assaultfitness assault runner pro before heading into a push focused training session 🔥
Turn your protein powder into a delicious protein powerhouse sludge bowl that uses a few select ingredients and can be whipped up (as seen by @dan_churchill and @nickbarefitness👀) in minutes!🔥
Mix the following ingredients:
- 2 scoops of protein powder
- 1 tbsp ground flaxseed
- 1 tbsp cacao powder
- 1/2 cup milk (or substitute)
Top with:
- 1 tbsp peanut butter
- 1 tbsp honey

- 1 tbsp unsweetened coconut flakes
- 1 sliced banana
Throw it all (quite literally) together into a bowl and enjoy!
Creatine 101 • the benefits of creatine for everyone, including runners, in 60 seconds (according to research)!
Friendly reminders:
• Supplements are meant to supplement, not replace, what should be a well-balanced, nutrient-dense diet. They don’t replace actual food, rather fill in the gaps and help maximize your results.
• Creatine is one of the most widely studied legitimate supplements out there, and has been consistently shown to be safe + beneficial for fitness enthusiast to the older population. However, always check with your MD.
• You do want to take it every day as you want to keep your creatine stores saturated, not just the days you train.
To consistently perform at your highest level, you do need a sufficient amount of creatine in your body.
Curious 📌 what are your thoughts on creatine?
This cup of coffee has me jumping out of bed every morning 💫🍂😍🤎☕️ My Collagen Protein Latte I make for myself & Brooks literally every morning!! But I am a sucker for special edition flavors & this one is a ✨FALL EDITION✨ version!
Make my “Apple Crisp oatmilk collagen protein latte” with me 🤣 (I’d be annoyed with myself in the Starbucks line too)
- Double Espresso shot
- Oatmilk (or milk of choice)
- Creamer (I used caramel apple crisp & looooove)
- @bpnsupps Collagen Protein, 1 scoop
I know I make it sound like I just got the coffee machine & am still learning, but truth is I have had it for over 3 years and this is still my current skill level but TASTES GOOD & that is all that really matters 😏🤌🏼✨ Plus the Collagen Protein adds no extra flavor, but does make it even creamier and I love that I have my collagen in first thing in the morning!

Peak week— closing out with a 22 mile workout 🏃🏽♀️ windy city here we come! Ever since the start of this prep I knew this run was coming, and I was nervous. Out of all marathon preps, this has been the toughest, but confidence comes from preparation, no short cuts— consistently showing up and keeping the hunger to find out what your capable of. Proud of this run, but still more work to be done.
Elite mindset. You vs you. Never sell yourself short.
Also, low key… @therock 😏
Consistently Good > Occasionally Great.

What if I could use the principles, lessons and experiences I used throughout my hockey career…
The factors that allowed me to make it where only 0.01% of hockey players make it…
The small important things within my control…
The consistency of showing up, of being in the present moment…
The commitment to #GoOneMore & face discomfort every single day…
Into becoming a triathlete.
How far do you think that could take me? We’re about to find out 🤝
Starting from square one. From the very bottom. Just like I did in my hockey career!
The question is, how far can this mindset go as an endurance athlete instead of on the ice? We’re about to find out. 🤝
👇 Tell me about a time you started something new from the bottom. What was the #1 lesson you learned?

20 mile run workout with some marathon pace splits built in. Be intentional, have a plan, test the plan, get it done. Your race, your pace 🤙🏽
Now let’s go crush some miles together!
Do you squat barefoot?
Until recently, I have spent that last 10+ years of my life squatting in olympic weightlifting shoes. These shoes have a hard, flat bottom that position your heels slightly higher than your toes.
Through a large increase in weekly running mileage, I have learned how important it is to keep your feet strong, which can be accomplished by taking your shoes off more often.
Let those foot muscles really get to work! I’ve also found weak foot muscles can be the cause of plantar fasciitis.
Transitioning to barefoot squatting took some time and I needed to do some serious ankle mobility stretches, but now my barbell squat feels much more natural and powerful.
I’m curious to hear from you guys. Drop your experience with squatting barefoot below 👇🏻
