Itโs Sunday morning โ๏ธ, 11:30am. Youโre standing outside your house watering plants ๐ชด when suddenly, Beansprout rolls up in her pink Jeep. ๐ โGet in the car,โ she says.
What do you do? ๐
Ok weather, Iโm ready for it to be less hot so the bugs will go away and we can hear the cavies crunching again ๐

Who started the guinea pigs as pets thing? Iโd like to have a word ๐ค
Toast is a lovable little weirdo though ๐ฅฐ
THE loudest guinea pig Iโve ever known and she is convinced that breakfast is an hourly thing ๐

This was not the reaction I was expecting!๐
Guinea pigs have an entire language of their own. They wheek for attention, mainly when food is involved, popcorn when theyโre happy, rumble-strut to communicate with other guinea pigs, and sometimes they make this adorable little purring noise. I often hear it when I give them a treat, and acknowledge it as a thank you, but the timing of this made me laugh out loud.๐ She is adorable!

Is this what opening the doors to heaven sounds like? ๐โ

Come do my guinea pigs morning routine with me.
Hay top ups, breakfast veggies, fresh water, spot cleaning, and of course the morning pats.

I recently visited Cavies & Cake in Fakenham โ the only interactive guinea pig cafรฉ in Europe!
It was great to meet owner Ian and spend time with some of the cafรฉโs charming residents, including Cindy, Comet and Peach. These hands-on animal sessions offer a wonderful opportunity for visitors to relax, connect, and experience the positive impact of animal interaction.
A truly unique local business bringing joy to the community in a very special way.
