Game Speed. Reaction Time. Separation.
Speed is important, but it’s not enough to win your 1-on-1 battles alone.
You need to know how to take that speed and utilize it when reading, reacting and making decisions in real time.

I can get you to work hard. But I cannot give you the will to want to come out first.
That's competing.

✨WANT TO GET BETTER?✨ = do the boring stuff ✋🙂↕️ the best players aren’t doing anything special, they’re just really good at putting EFFORT into the EVERY part of the game, especially the fundamentals. 🤍

Don’t ever forget, it’s supposed to be about FUN.
Best of luck to all the high school players, trying out tonight, to give it their all, but to also never forget to find moments of joy and fun in the fight to make the team!

“IT’S ABOUT US, NOT THEM.”
I heard that in football almost every week.
A reminder that none of it matters—opponents, teammates, noise—if you’re not handling your own business.
That’s how I run now.
I’ll compete with you… but I race myself.
Because at the end of the day, the only standard that matters is the one I set.
And if I finish?
That’s a good day.
