Jeansvergleich: Fast vs. Fair Fashion, optisch meiner nach gleichwertig. Und sonst? *Passform: beide top; perfekt für eher gerade Figuren; größengerecht *Material: beide top: fester Denim, weich, Biobaumwolle *Verarbeitung: beide ordentlicher Standard mit jeweils besonderen Details. DAWN von den Nähten her hochwertiger; (Side note: Premiumverarbeitung wäre noch deutlich detailreicher bei der Innenverarbeitung; Bsp: Closed, StellaMcCartney) *Herstellung: hier muss ich bei COS von typischen Fast Fashion Bedingungen ausgehen (Löhne unter dem Existenzminimum, Arbeitszeiten ohne freie Tage, evt. Beschäftigung von Minderjährigen, Ausbeutung, widrige, gesundheitsgefährdende Arbeitsplatzbedingungen), während DAWN ein absolutes Paradebeispiel dafür ist, wie man es 100% richtig macht: eigens aufgebaute Produktionsstätte, alle Arbeitenden sind für faire Löhne bei DAWN angestellt, Rückverfolgung bis hin zur NäherIn der einzelnen Produkte möglich, inkl. der Möglichkeit Trinkgeld zu senden (wie cool ist das denn bitte?). Besser und fairer geht nicht! *Transparenz: COS: immerhin ist die Produktionstätte (Türkei) veröffentlicht; über Zulieferer von Stoff, Knöpfen, Garn, Wäscherei und Färberei ist nichts bekannt. DAWN: komplett transparente Liefer-und Produktionskette, alles über QRCode im Produkt einsehbar. Vorbildlich! *Preis: trotz der 50 Euro Unterschied ist der DAWN Preis meiner Meinung nach fairer als der COS Preis: nicht nur sind die Arbeitsbedingungen um ein Vielfaches besser, auch alle Materialien sind hier garantiert giftfrei. Ich gehe auch davon aus, dass die Produktionsmenge bei der COS Jeans etwa bei dem 5-6fachen Volumen der DAWN liegt, was sich immer im Preis, aber natürlich auch in der Exklusivität niederschlägt. Fazit: beides tolle Jeans, aber insgesamt ist die @dawndenim „the real choice“!
