Tweedy has left the shelter for foster! This petite, 11 month old baby came in with three other worried young ones that looked and acted much like him (all have since been adopted). He’s been trying his best to be brave in the shelter setting but he’s having a hard time. We love us a sensitive, softy and when a chance to help him out presented itself, we put a plan in motion.
Thank you Ozzy @recnpups for stepping up to foster this sweet boy. We look forward to watching him grow under your guidance.
Stay tuned for more tweedy.

Margie has been adopted and we couldn’t be happier for this sweet girl, and on #nationalpetday, no less. How kismet.
A huge shoutout to her foster dad, Jose @olderdogfoster for opening his home and taking such incredible care of her these past months. She formed a special bond with you and your pack, and we know this goodbye is bittersweet. Fosters are heroes.
Congrats to Kylie, Christian, and family. Enjoy this sweet girl, you’ve got a special one. And of course, thank you for choosing to adopt a shelter dog!
We love you, Margie!

Zeke has left the shelter on foster👏Thank you foster for opening up your home to a shelter dog. Zeke came into the @friendsofnorthcentralshelter after some Good Samaritans found him and held onto him for few days in hopes of finding his family. He reportedly does well with cats! Zeke has been a steady presence in shelter playgroups, and shown to be gentle and polite with all. He is listed at 3 years and 68lbs. We look forward to learning more about this fella, but first some much needed quiet away from the shelter.
