Rhythm runs deep in the woods and this is a beautiful example of it 🌳 @mohamederrebbaa stepped into the glade and the atmosphere shifted. Gnawa tradition, rooted in ceremony and a living pulse of sound, carried across the grass and into the trees. At SWN, we are honoured to invite artists deeply rooted in their musical traditions. Artists who carry stories, teachers, and histories within their sound, allowing that lineage to meet the land as it is, and the participants who shape each night’s unfolding story. On 21st May 2026 @mohamederrebbaa joins us in Sussex. Over 25 artists gather this season, each offering their own language of sound to meet the Nightingale’s through the dusk. If you’ve been waiting for the right moment to choose the musical experience you want to be part of, this might be it 💚 Full line-up & booking via our website!

Carrying the Breath of the Ancestors through chants, krakeb, and the deep pulse of the guembri, this piece honors the roots of Gnawa and the sacred lineage it carries. Each rhythm becomes remembrance, each voice a bridge between worlds, where ancestral memory lives on through sound and trance. #culture #gnawa #heritage #arturia #music

A weekend dedicated to the art of slowing down. 🌿 Well Rooted is an invitation to step away from the digital world and back into the forest. For this first edition at Handunkanda Nature Escape, we’re keeping things intimate—just 30 people coming together to recharge and reconnect. Expect flow art workshops with international poi artists, jewelry crafting, and sacred geometry. The sound healing sessions won’t use a playlist; they’ll be guided by the natural rhythm of the birds and the forest itself. As the sun sets, the energy shifts into organic dub jams and world music under the canopy. The Essentials: 🗓️ March 30 - 31 📍 Handunkanda Nature Escape ✨ 10k All Access (Includes all workshops, performances, and 3 local meals) Spaces are strictly limited to 30 people to keep the experience personal. Send us a DM to secure your spot or check the link in our bio for more details. Let’s get rooted.

Caught a vibe and got lost in space and time in an offering of peace with N’goni brother @bikocasini of @risingappalachia on Bass Kamale N’goni and myself @odonatamusic on Kamale N’goni at Paralounge Drum Festival @mrparalounge in Pierson, Florida at a beautiful nature campground this past weekend. Getting to play with another skilled N’goni player here in the US is a rarity let alone the Bass N’goni and N’goni combination. Was an absolute pleasure brother Biko. 🪕🫶🏽 🪕 . . . #Ngoni #Melody #Rhythm #Festival #Nature
