We love this trick!!! Sick of bagging out on squid and having to spend days cleaning them while covered in ink? We use this life hack whenever we have a large amount of squid to clean. Important to take the candles off if you want to eat them! (The best part if you havenā€™t eaten them before) Remove the heads and donā€™t waste them as they make the best baits! Cut a small section of the top of the hood off to allow water to clean out the tubes. Most of the wings will come off in the wash, some bigger squid you may still have to pull them off after. Take the fresh cleaned tubes out of the bag and discard the rest (we also keep wings for bait!) And done, fresh easy cleaned tubes!! We also think the salty water battering the tubes at 20-30kmph helps soften the meat and make them taste even better. #howtocleansquid #squid #fishing #shimano #fillet
