Most snowboard companies build thousands of identical boards in overseas factories. @gilsonsnow builds yours by hand in Pennsylvania. You pick the model, the size, the performance platform. Then you work one-on-one with their in-house artist to design custom graphics that nobody else on the mountain will ever have. Founded in 2013 by a dyslexic kid who started pressing prototypes in his parents’ basement at 14. Now they’re one of the only independent snowboard manufacturers building everything in the USA with locally sourced wood. This is what happens when a brand actually cares more about the product than the profit margin.
