Now Book Your Metro Tickets on Mobile – No More Waiting in Line!
The GMRC has launched the “Ahmedabad Metro Official” mobile application, making metro travel faster and more convenient for passengers. With this app, you can book tickets directly from your mobile phone and skip the ticket lines.
For recent only android users can access this application, iOS users get this app from 23rd dec 2024.
Steps to Book Your Metro Ticket
1. Download the App:
Install the Ahmedabad Metro Official app from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
2. Sign In:
Open the app and sign in using your mobile number. Verify with the OTP sent to your phone.
3. Go to Ticket Booking:
Navigate to the “Ticket Booking” section.
4. Select Travel Details:
Choose your starting station and destination station.
Select the number of tickets (you can book up to 9 tickets at a time).
5. Make Payment:
Complete the payment using:
• UPI
• Credit Card
• Debit Card
6. Get Your QR Code:
Once payment is successful, a QR code will be displayed on your mobile screen.
7. Scan and Travel:
• At the entry gate, scan the QR code to access the platform.
• At the exit gate, scan the same QR code to complete your journey.
The app also offers:
• Travel history
• Metro fare details
• Metro timetable
• Station list
• Metro route map
Benefits for Passengers
• Save time by avoiding long ticket lines.
• No need to carry loose cash or printed tickets.
• Environmentally friendly with reduced paper usage.
• Ideal for daily commuters, students, and regular metro travelers.

(પરંતુ મેટ્રો કામગીરીને કોઈ અસર થશે નહીં.)
અમદાવાદ મેટ્રોમાં ટિકિટ કાઉન્ટર પર રહેલ કોન્ટ્રાક્ટ કર્મચારીઓને છેલ્લા મહિનાની સેલેરી તેમજ દિવાળી બોનસ ન મળતાં અને અન્ય બીજા મુદ્દાઓ સાથે હડતાલ પર ઉતર્યા.
• આજે સવારે ઓલ્ડ હાઇકોર્ટ મેટ્રો સ્ટેશન ઉપર અમદાવાદના વિવિધ મેટ્રો સ્ટેશનના કોન્ટ્રાક્ટ કર્મચારીઓને પગાર ન મળતા તેમજ મેટ્રો સ્ટાફ અધિકારીઓ દ્વારા શોષણ જેવા મુદ્દાઓ સાથે નોકરીમાં લોગીન ન કરી વિરોધ કર્યો હતો.
• આ કોન્ટ્રાક્ટ કર્મચારીઓ મુજબ તેઓની સેલેરી માત્ર 10,000 રૂપિયા છે અને એમાં પણ દિવાળી સમયે અડધી સેલેરી કરાઈ હતી જે પછીની અડધી સેલેરી દિવાળીના 10 દિવસ બાદ હજુ સુધી પણ કરવામાં આવી નથી. અને ગત વર્ષે દિવાળી બોનસ પણ આપવામાં આવ્યું હતું જે આ વર્ષે અપાયું નથી.
• આ સિવાય પણ કર્મચારીઓ મુજબ ઉપરી અધિકારીઓ દ્વારા આ કોન્ટ્રાક્ટ કર્મચારીઓનું શોષણ કરાઈ રહ્યું હોવાના આક્ષેપો છે.
• કોન્ટ્રાક્ટ કર્મચારીઓ દ્વારા કોન્ટ્રાક્ટર A&S આઉટસોર્સિંગ સોલ્યુશન, અને મેટ્રો રેલ કોર્પોરેશનના કર્મચારીઓ ઉપર આક્ષેપો મુકાયા છે.
• કોન્ટ્રાક્ટ કર્મચારીઓ દ્વારા સેલેરી ન કરાય ત્યાં સુધી નોકરીએ ન આવવાની ચીમકી ઉચ્ચારવામાં આવી છે.
• આ કોન્ટ્રાક્ટ કર્મચારીઓ જ્યાં સુધી હડતાલ પર છે ત્યાં સુધી મેટ્રો રેલ કોર્પોરેશન દ્વારા બીજા સ્ટાફની વ્યવસ્થા કરવામાં આવી છે જેથી મેટ્રોની કામગીરીમાં કોઈ અસર થશે નહીં.
