🚨If you only have a weekend in Croatia, this is one of the easiest day trips you can do 🇭🇷 Krka National Park is famous for its waterfalls💦, but what most people don’t realize is how simple the main walking route actually is. The boardwalk trail 🌱 takes you through the park on an easy loop with constant views of the river, forest, and smaller cascades before leading you to the main waterfall area — it honestly feels like the destination builds up the whole way there. I took a tour 🚌 for convenience, and they basically handle transport and park entry, then drop you off at Krka so you can explore the trail at your own pace. No stress figuring out buses or logistics. You only need around 2–3 hours inside the park to see the main route, so it fits easily into a Split day trip. Krka really IS this beautiful 😍🇭🇷 But learn from us… don’t go in the middle of the day in peak summer 😂🥵 It was HOT, absolutely packed and we spent half the day wondering why we hadn’t dragged ourselves out of bed earlier. Also be pre warned… you can no longer swim there! Our tip: get there as early as you possibly can.
