LEGO Dragon Ball is finally here! Set was provided by LEGO for the review | Sponsored LEGO Icons set #11390 Dragon Ball: Shenron & Goku will be released on November 4th, 2026, with LEGO Insiders Early Access starting on November 1st. It consists of 1764 pieces and costs 179.99 USD / 139.99 EUR. What I like: - Shenron looks really impressive as a display model. In that sense he reminds me of the NINJAGO Guardian Dragon. Both are built as fixed sculptures attached to their bases - The shaping is really good. Shenron is noticeably thicker than Rayquaza and the long coiled body creates a very strong display composition - I really like that all 7 Dragon Balls are incorporated into the base. It immediately makes the whole scene recognizable - There is a lot of texture throughout the body, so the build stays visually interesting despite the limited color palette - The head and claws can still be adjusted a little, which helps give the model some personality What I don’t like: - Goku is attached using an opaque support stick. A transparent element would make the flying effect much more convincing - Goku’s face honestly looks more like Krillin to me than Goku - I think Shenron’s body could be a little thicker. He is already more massive than Rayquaza, but compared with many manga and anime appearances he still looks slightly too slim - The head could perhaps be a little bigger too, although Shenron’s proportions vary quite a lot between different manga and anime scenes, so there is no single perfect reference - Compared with Rayquaza, Shenron is much more static. That makes sense for this sculpture style, but you have much less freedom to change the pose #LEGO #RLFM #DragonBall #Shenron
