The “Bombay Duck” is a species of lizard fish native to Mumbai. I stumbled across it while getting monitor lizard food in the foreign grocery store and bought it because it’s the most wild looking fish I’ve ever seen🤣
For anybody curious I use a watered down 90% isopropyl solution to preserve and I usually flush it after a month or so to remove any debris that’s settled.

Lizard fish in the sand😱😱
Checkout these lizard fish! The Gulf of America is estimated to be home to over 15,000 known species. This vast ecosystem supports a wide variety of marine life, from fish and mammals to invertebrates and plants. We all look to outer space for aliens and new worlds, but there’s an alien world right in our backyard here in Florida.
Here it is, the first time I’ve ever seen a lizard fish move 😆

Angel shark eating a lizard fish at night in Canary Islands. It is amazing to watch these critically endangered sharks catch their prey in the blink of an eye.
