Check out the torque on this New Makita 40v XGT drill with a 3 speed gearbox • A lot of drills cut out on the highest speed with a lot of load on it. Of course I have to piggyback off of @jlg_woodworker thoughts on the @makitatools XGT 40V multitool. It’s an excellent tool and I completely agree with him — it’s definitely one of the best multitools out there. I tend to use it more for finer work where precision matters. With that said, the most powerful multitool I’ve personally used and owned is the @milwaukeetool M18 Fuel multitool. By the way, I still call them “Fein tools.” That’s what my old boss used to call them because Fein was the original multitool — kind of like calling a circular saw a “Skil saw” or a reciprocating saw a “Sawzall.” You know how that goes. Anyway, I absolutely love Makita power tools and stand by them. In my opinion they’re right up there in the Cadillac category of tools. I got to try out the Makita 40v XGT 1-3/16” Rotary hammer with the Hepa dust extraction attachment • Some brands require 2 batteries to run a setup like this but this extractor runs off the tool battery. • It starts when you pull the trigger and runs for a few seconds after you let go • The extension lets you get extraction for holes up to 7-1/2 deep • The 1/2” XGT impact Wrench is an absolute power house with 1 620 ft lbs of Nut-Busting Torque and 1,250 ft lbs ofFastening Torque @makitatools @makita.ca #makitapartner
