A successful 7th Grade Visitation Day at Bonner & Prendie. Future Friars and Pandas spent the day walking through classes, meeting our teachers, and connecting with Student Ambassadors who showed them what life here is really like. Choosing a high school is a big decision. 7th Grade Visitation Day at Bonner & Prendie is designed to make it easier. During Visitation Day, students are welcomed into a classroom and guided through a modified school day by Bonner & Prendie Student Ambassadors. They will attend classes, meet teachers, explore campus, and experience what daily life as a Friar or Panda really looks like. The goal is the perfect balance. Students see the strength of our academics, the dialogue-driven relationships between teachers and students, and the welcoming community that makes Bonner & Prendie special. And most importantly, they have fun while doing it. Visitation Day helps remove the pressure of choosing a high school and gives students the chance to see firsthand that at Bonner & Prendie, you are welcomed, supported, and you belong. Our cups runneth over today as we celebrated one of our favorite days of the year, the IB CP day for our 8th graders!! Big thank you to so many people that made this possible. Loved seeing our Oakmont kids who had a full circle moment today, our community that came out to judge our projects, all of our teachers who have been supporting since September AND, most importantly, our kids that made us cry real tears (the proud ones) today.
