Getting some work done in my @biodapt MotoKnee2 and VersaFoot2. I would never get the same level of strength training out of my everyday equipment! Benefits are- - Better positioning and alignment under heavy loads. - Assistance past 90-degree knee flexion that helps you go lower into a squat, which ultimately allows your muscles to get stronger - The user has the option to change the resistance (spring rate) and stability settings (hydraulic resistance) depending on the movements and weight lifted. I personally have 130 psi in the knee shock and 50 psi in the Foot shock. Compression in the soft position in both. This allows for quicker movements. He was known for his speed, toughness, and love for extreme sports. He competed at national levels, lived for the adrenaline rush, and built his life around performance and movement. In 2008, during a snowmobile race, Mike was thrown from his vehicle and landed hard on his left leg, severely injuring his knee and femur. Doctors tried to save the leg, but due to internal damage and risk of infection, they amputated it above the knee. The injury wasn’t just a physical blow — it shattered his identity. From a high-performance athlete, he was suddenly faced with learning how to walk again. The prosthetic legs available at the time were stiff, uncomfortable, and not built for sports. Instead of giving up, Mike took a different route. He started designing his own prosthetic leg, using what he knew from motorsports and engineering. He created the Moto Knee — a high-performance prosthetic that uses a mountain bike shock absorber for smoother, more natural movement. He also built the Versa Foot, a flexible and durable foot system to go with it. Then he founded BioDapt, Inc., a company that builds advanced prosthetics for other amputees — especially athletes and veterans. Mike didn’t just return to sports — he came back stronger. He won gold and silver at the Winter Paralympics in snowboarding (2018 Pyeongchang). His prosthetics are now used by dozens of elite athletes, including U.S. Paralympians. He’s been featured in Time Magazine, GQ, and Forbes. In 2020, he was the flag bearer for Team USA. His company BioDapt has helped hundreds reclaim active lives. How to perform a Knee Knocker? ⬇️ . . . _________________ Step 1- Master the basics of the Sit Down Wheelie Step 2- Place your body weight in the seat. This ensures the bike will stay straight Step 3- Pop the clutch and keep steady throttle. Do not be choppy with it. Step 4- Use the upper half of your body to steer the direction you want to go. Here is the full video since so many of y’all wanted to see it 🤣 Shit happens, I’ll be back in a week. I am okay besides some bad road rash on my arm and some bruising on my knee and hip. The @fullmetalstunts cage and 12 bar did a great job holding the bike together, just need to pickup a new front wheel. 🤦‍♂️ For those wondering what happened, I didn’t have my feet locked in a great position and my body positioning wasn’t great either since I’m still new to wheeling and uncomfortable on this bike.
