What felt high-end a few years ago can quickly turn into expensive wall décor buyers don’t even want. 2️⃣ Super bold paint choices 🎨 Bright reds, dark ceilings, neon accent walls… it’s fun for your style, but most buyers instantly start calculating repainting costs. 3️⃣ Jetted tubs 🛁 They sound luxurious… until it’s time to clean them. Most buyers today prefer oversized showers over tubs with extra maintenance. 4️⃣ Above-ground pools 💦 For many buyers, they feel more like a project than a feature. Maintenance, safety concerns, and yard space become a big turnoff. 5️⃣ Garage conversions 🚗➡️🏠 Adding another room sounds great… until buyers realize there’s nowhere to park or store anything anymore. 6️⃣ Popcorn ceilings 😵 One of the fastest ways to make a home feel dated.
