A beautiful song from another great childhood movie many of us grew up with. 🌹

Imagine feeling uncertain about your abilities, only to knock it out of the park when it really counts. Angela Lansbury, the beloved voice behind Mrs. Potts, had her doubts about performing the title song in Beauty and the Beast. She worried that her "aging singing voice" wouldn’t do justice to the delicate melody. But then, in true icon fashion, she recorded it beautifully in just one take. It’s a perfect reminder that sometimes we underestimate ourselves, but when the moment arrives, we can surprise even our harshest critics. It’s relatable, isn't it? We all have those moments where we doubt our talents, but then we rise to the occasion. Angela’s story is a testament to embracing vulnerability and finding strength in unexpected places, proving that age is just a number when it comes to talent.
Angela Lansbury almost didn’t make it to the studio. A bomb threat, a diverted plane, and a full orchestra waiting in New York.

I enjoy singing this song and feel it is an honor to do so. I also played with it tonight and made it a duet between Angela and Jigglypuff. I'm posting a clip of that tomorrow. I'm gearing up to submit to talent agents again. Wish me luck!

Singing a role I’ve always wanted to play 🎭✨
If you know me, you know I love musical theatre. And Belle has always been one of those roles I’ve dreamed about stepping into.
So I thought it would be fun to start a little series where I sing songs from roles I’ve always wanted to play.
Starting with Belle from Beauty and the Beast. 🌹
What musical theatre role would you like to hear me sing?
