Cake Pan 1 stick butter(salted) 5 cups Bisquick, generic is fine 1.5 cups sour cream 1 cup sprite, 7-up, club soda Extra Bisquick for kneading Extra melted butter to brush on top. ***Doesn’t matter as along as it’s carbonated. Diet is fine as well*** Place butter in pan and in oven. Begin to preheat oven to 450° but remove pan when butter is melted so it doesn’t burn(approx 10-12 min). While butter is melting start on biscuits! Add Bisquick and sour cream to a large bowl and cut in with a fork. Then add 7-up and cut that in until a dough is formed. Pour a generous amount of Bisquick onto a clean, flat surface(see video for approx amount) then begin to knead dough. It will be a tad wet initially and that’s fine. The extra Bisquick will remedy this. Once you have a nice consistency roll out to around 3/4-1” thick. Cut out by pressing STRAIGHT DOWN AND NOT TWISTING to prevent the edges from sealing which will keep them from rising as well(my cutter was 3.5” diameter). Will need to knead a couple times to get 12 biscuits. Place biscuits in pan and in oven for 13-16 min but 15 is usually the sweet spot.
