Wowza! ⬇️ It’s been an interesting journey. I say it all the time, “I am exactly where I need to be”. And WTF! This process has been uncomfortable AF. I’ve been living out of suitcases for six months. I packed up my life in September. Drove from California to Wisconsin (got a speeding ticket in a speed trap just after crossing the state line and the speed limit dropping 5mph), staying in other people’s spaces, enduring cold (in the teens and snow) weather and feeling very uncomfortable. I am not playing victim and I am feeling into it all. The move to Costa Rica has been filled with pivots. Changes at very turn. Spinning in circles at times. A practice in patience. Surrendering to the process. Trusting the timing. And doing my best to be in the flow. We have been jumping through hoops and doing the work! Experiencing intuitive whispers and gut feelings. Setting intentions and trusting myself. Allowing and accepting. It is A LOT. I am not trying to complain. I am grateful for the opportunities. I am thankful for my family and friends. I have a roof over my head, food to eat, a vehicle to drive and money in the bank. Abundance all around. AND I have had to stand up for myself in many ways. Give extra pushes for things to get done. Stay consistent and connected. And fully let go of any plans, expectations and worries. It WILL happen in divine timing. Last Thursday, after we finally received the endorsement by the USDA on Kylie’s international health certificate things took another turn. A three plus hour wait to speak to an airline representative and I was told conflicting information again. I have received different answers to the same question more times than I care to. At that point I wanted to give up. I cried. I prayed. And I decided if we were not able to get on our flight for whatever reason, then we were not going until after the Holiday weekend. On the way to the airport our flight was delayed 3 times and rerouted. This would have resulted in 12 hours of waiting in the airport. I got a refund and left. The past few days we have been working with the vet offices to once again get everything in order to try again. Stay tuned!
