Staring up at the aurora shimmering above. So beautiful.
Sunsets off the snow are just a next level of beautiful.
The @trvldsuitcase Alaska trip will plan for you to see some off these sunsets off the snow plus the northern lights all in one day! Check it out
This fiery sky comes from high-altitude ice crystals scattering sunlight during sunrise. When the clouds sit below the peak, it creates a rare blanket of color across the entire horizon.
Mt Fuji in Japan, Iceland, Norway, and the Alps are also some of the best places to catch this kind of view. Follow for more.
Have you ever seen an aurora so bright that it lights up the ground green?
This week started with amazing conditions and we got such great figure skating footages with @c.chiara.arienti who came to visit us from Italy⛸️✨

UPDATE: Likely not happening tonight since it arrived much earlier than expected
The Northern Lights may be visible again tonight 1/19/26 - 1/20/26 thanks to a massive solar flare that occurred this past weekend. The peak is predicted to be between 9pm and 2am but this could vary. Get out to a dark place away from city lights where you can look north, the higher the better. This may be visible in Orange County but it is not possible to know for sure. If you’re willing to put in some effort, the best local spot will be North Pole Tubing Park at Mt High Ski Resort.
Keep in mind there is NEVER a guarantee, this is a guess/prediction based on a celestial event. But for those willing to put in the effort, you may be rewarded. I’m putting this out nice and early so that everyone has time to react without feeling like they missed out. There are several factors that determine how bright the Aurora Borealis will be and it’s only known as it’s happening.
Good luck everyone!
