🏔️ 4. Tongariro Alpine Crossing — You’re hiking on an active volcano. Craters, steaming vents, emerald lakes… legit feels like Mordor. Top 5 hike of my life.
🥾 5. Pouakai Crossing — The trail is meh, but on a clear day, you’ll get that mirror reflection shot of Mount Taranaki in the tarn.

My new favourite Queenstown Hike 😍
To get to this final waterfall and viewpoint you must cross the bridge at the first waterfall and continue along the water pipe board walk until you reach the second. Don’t follow the route sign which takes you on a much longer trek to the top of the mountain ☺️
