What’s a pedicab driver’s favorite place to eat in Times Square? 📍 Louis (646) 994-8775 - call/text him for a ride! 🚲🛺 📍 Joe’s Pizza (1435 Broadway, New York, NY 10018) $4-6 slices 🍕

Core Memory Unlocked 🔓 My son was dying to do this in Central Park and I am SO happy we did!!! It was a blast. If you can ask for Abdul our guy was amazing!!! BUT FIRST you must agree on a price. Apparently there are scammers who charge by the minute and if you do an hour it can be over $1k 😱😬 We were going to do an hour for $100 but it was so cold we did half an hour for $50. And it was truly one of the best parts of our trips. Have a blast and enjoy the moments!!! Don’t get scammed!!!!! #nyc #pedicabs #christmas

🐴 Claims of pedicab and carriage horse driver conflicts outside Central Park are raising concerns over safety, horse carriage union shop steward Christina Hansen told 1010 WINS. A pedicab driver allegedly assaulted a horse carriage driver near 6th Avenue and 59th Street in a dispute over potential customers, with the victim being sent to the hospital, according to Hansen, of the NYTWU Local 100 Horse Carriages Division, as well as social media posts from carriage driver Jill Adamski. Hansen told 1010 WINS that this is just one incident in a broader pattern of pedicab drivers soliciting in areas designated for horse carriages, and sometimes engaging aggressively with drivers or customers. Over the weekend, social media posts showed multiple pedicabs were reportedly parked illegally at Cherry Hill, until NYPD Central Park precinct officers responded. In another incident, a pedicab driver allegedly collided with a horse carriage wheel and threatened the carriage driver, another post claimed. "You should be able to go to work, right, and do your job without being sucker punched by somebody who's not even supposed to be there," Hansen said. "All of that is going on, because they're trying to get our customers, because otherwise people wouldn't ride in a tricycle. They come here for the horses." The New York Pedicab Alliance told 1010 WINS that it has launched an investigation and are looking into the driver accused of assault. 🎤 @glenn.schuck reports 📹 Jill Adamski 🔊 Tune into 1010 WINS at 92.3 FM for more local news #nyc #newyorkcity #nycnews #nyclocalnews #localnews #news #centralpark #horsecarriages #pedicabs #transitworkers #nypd #crime
