Afghan New Wave 1980s Song: Khamoosh || خاموش Singer: Farid Rastagar || فريد رستگار Back Up Band: Gul-e-Surkh || گل سرخ Arrangement: Farid Rastagar || فريد رستگار Year: 1985/1986 Footage: Assortment between years of 1985,1986,1988,1989,1992 Audio Credit: OMJVINYLS Genre: New Wave Commentary: Never before heard recording of Farid Rastagar and Gul-E-Surkh playing a New Wave sort of song. I included various footage of Farid Rastagar and the band from that era. So this assortment of footage gives a rare look into Afghan Music made during this era. This track is form a cassette that contained songs that Gul-E-Surkh performed between 1985-1986. What I love about this music, and whats makes it different from other Afghan songs is the use of Bass guitar, Electric Guitar and Keyboard. But the Bassist ability to add multiple rifts makes this track amazing. Enjoy :) #newwave #afghanistan #afghanmusic #oldafghanmusic #afghanbands #afghanguitars #music #newwave #psyc #afghannewwave #synthpop #faridrastagar #gulesurkh #casiokeyboard #bassguitar

Rewatched #theincredibles and it was waay cooler than when I saw it as a kid. I wanted to add some sound effects where Psycwave dies but it turned out creepier that I expected. Also didn’t want to spent too much time messing with video
